Setting an example

As I watch my kids grow older and begin to understand that they will all be in school one day. I now have to decide what I would like to do at that point. I can not just sit at home while they are in school. And I will be teaching them a valuable lesson, education is important and good at any age, if I decide to go back to college.

The question is what do I do? Do I do something to just make money? Which I went to college already and tried that route. Or do I do something I really want to do? I know a few things I would really love to do. But in my mind I still feel 13 and think that I can not do it. But it is something I absolutely love doing and can imagine being happy doing it. But the pessimistic side comes out and thinks it is just a dream. But I can't tell my kids to dream and make those dreams possible without doing the same. I just realized being a parent is so hard. I don't want to be one of those parents that say "do what I say not what I do". I have to set the example.

Do what will make you happy!! Because if you get a job just to make money you will be miserable. I actually like what I do which makes things a lot easier for me. Sure it isn't my dream career but it works!!

Oh trust me, whatever you do needs to be something you like and will make you happy. It is terrible being stuck in a job you dont like and is not worth it in the end
